The Science

It is a little-known fact that Crumbl cookies contain not just calories, butaudible energy. Through a process we call "Macrosonic Transduction" (patent pending, probably), the complex carbohydrate chains in a freshly baked Crumbl cookie can be converted directly into subwoofer cone excursion. One medium Chocolate Chip cookie contains approximately 750 calories of potential sonic energy. The CR-3 uses fourteen of them per listening session.

"But wait," you might say, "isn't that just eating cookies with extra steps?" And to that we say: yes. Absolutely. And it is beautiful.

The proprietary Crumbl-to-Sound Energy Converter (CSEC) works by inserting the cookie into a specially designed hopper, where it is crushed, dissolved in a warm milk-based solution, and fermented into a conductive slurry. This slurry is then applied to a piezoelectric diaphragm that vibrates at the exact frequency of your favorite sub-bass notes. The result: audio so warm and satisfying it literally tastes like cookies.

Tasting Notes & Pairings

Like fine wine, every Crumbl-powered subwoofer has a distinct flavor profile that evolves as the cookie slurry ages. The CR-1, fresh out of the box, presents with bright, forward transients and a slightly buttery mid-bass. After 48 hours of break-in, the flavor deepens, revealing notes of caramelized sugar and a hint of vanilla warmth in the upper sub-bass region.

Recommended pairings: The CR-2 pairs exceptionally well with electronic music and cold milk. The CR-3, with its brownie-batter foundation, complements orchestral works and dark chocolate. The CR-1 is best enjoyed with pop music and a sense of casual enjoyment. Do not pair the CR-3 with solo acoustic guitar - it will overpower the delicacy like a double fudge brownie at a salad bar.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to use Crumbl cookies specifically?

Yes. This is the most important specification. Third-party cookies void the warranty and may produce suboptimal flavor profiles. We do not make the rules. We just enforce them.

Can I use gluten-free cookies?

Our gluten-free crossover network upgrade is available for an additional fee. It does not actually change the crossover. But the label makes it gluten-free by association. That is how it works.

What happens if the cookies expire?

The subwoofer will begin to sound 'stale.' We recommend replacing the cookie slurry every 30 days or whenever the low-end loses its sweetness.

Is this a real product?

VS Sound Systems does not currently manufacture Crumbl-powered subwoofers. But if you send us enough money, we will seriously consider it. The R&D would mostly involve eating a lot of cookies. We are ready for this sacrifice.
